Provides 1 family with fresh fruits/vegetables and non-perishable items as part of our POP-Up and School Based Food Pantries to combat food insecurity and childhood hunger
Provides 5 students with culturally relevant reading materials that they receive as a gift to build their own individual home libraries
Provides 2 Long Island City High School graduating students with a scholarship as they transition being college freshman
Provides a one-day event opportunity such as our Read Across America Day at PS 171Q that includes books for students in 3K through Kindergarten, along with arts and crafts materials, and snacks for the event
Provides a naming opportunity for our annual Youth Summit that includes the cost of food, student materials for the days workshops, and honorariums for speakers (this event is free to students)
